"Look, nothing wrong with this place at all. The food and ambience were good, and the service was too! We had a Malbec and a cocktail, the potato small plate, the chicken katsu sandwich and the pork schnitzel. The cocktail, the potatoes and the schnitzel were all good.. but both food items were 80% there. The pork schnitzel desperately needed a sweet acid. The salad is great that comes with it but should be a different dressing to balance it. Or maybe a pickled apple relish kind of thing? The chicken katsu sandwich was pretty close to perfect though and the fries were good! (The kids tenders were good too.) Oh and ps: the cheddar biscuits with honey butter were delicious! (The price is just a tad high, which would be fine, if everything was just stepped up a bit!)"

"Ok this place would get 9/10 from me. It’s a gem in downtown Spartanburg. Food was delicious. Server was great although it took longer than I expected to make our food. Atmosphere 10/10! Highly recommend for elevated dining. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu- before we ordered, he informed us which product they were out due to it being a Father’s Day. I appreciated that."

"We were in Spartanburg to see Clue live and needed a quick dinner spot—and The Kennedy exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Natalie, our server, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was just as impressive. If you’re visiting Spartanburg, this place is a must. Highly recommend—you won’t be disappointed."
